This week we have a fantastic prize donated by our lovely DT Victoria who is a Stampin'Up Demonstrator, she has provided us with this fantastic prize pictured below and this week she will be hand picking the winner by choosing her favourite entry.
Look at this Prize ....How generous is this woman !!??

Any hoo onto this week´s challenge at Die Cut Dreams which is

Pack a Punch

Good morning ladies, I hope you were all spoiled rotten yesterday and had a wonderful Mother´s Day.

Today sees the start of a new challenge at Die Cut Dreams and this week we would like you to

Pack a Punch ... use at least 2 different punches

This week we are sponsored by Di from Di´s Digital Downloads and she very kindly supplied the DT with some of her wonderful images and is offering the winner their choice of 2 images from her online store.

We extend a warm welcome to Tasha who is our Guest Designer for the next fortnight, be sure to check out her Blog and view her wonderful creations.

I love my punches so this challenge was the perfect excuse to have a play. I have been good and restricted myself to only using 3 although I was tempted to punch out some leaves and include a sentiment onto a punched out circle.

I cut out a 5cm circle from the centre of the orange paper and punched around this using the gold punch, punched the corners with the purple one and the flowers of coarse came from the blue retro.

Flutter By Wednesday reaches 100

Today marks our 100th Challenge at Flutter By Wednesday and in honour of Danni, the creator and fantastic leader, we the DT are celebrating this wonderful event with something special. Danni asked us if we could all use a butterfly on our project this week to mark our 100th Challenge.
Our fabulous teamie Karen contacted the DT and suggested we all make Butterfly Boxes using a lovely template that was found on Brenda´s Blog , thank you Karen and Brenda, I really enjoyed making this.

After cutting and assembling my Butterfly Box I drew a butterfly free hand then ran this through the cuttlebug folder. Top butterfly is stamped onto acetate with stazon and decorated with Art Institute Glitter. The handle was made using MS Valentine punch and trimmed with ribbon. Floral and Pearl display are all from Wild Orchid Crafts.

This week´s challenge is an open one, just make sure you have a butterfly, fairy or angel on your project and upload to Mr. Linky and if you upload to SCS or PCP please use the keyword, FBW.
I do hope you will all help us honour Danni´s 100th and don´t forget to check out the DT, links on my sidebar, to see what they have created with this fabulous template.

This week´s sketch was designed by Sharon and was a dream to work with. We were all provided with a fabulous download of "Alfie and the bumble bee", ain´t he just the cutest! and he comes in both coloured and digi form along with a pretty mix of pink and green papers so you have the choice of a quick make or be a bit more adventurous and let your creative mind flow.

I went for a quick make by using the pre coloured image of Alfie and the bumble bee, mounting him on nesties, and I love these papers which print off to perfection. Everything else is from my stash.

Remember you do not have to use LOTV products and we are happy for you to combine challenges.

For my card I have used Fairies - On Tiptoe and coloured her with Copics, chalking the background and adding my beloved glamour dust to her wings. Papers are Wisteria, sentiment is See D, retro punch and more glamour dust, glittered brads are from Papermania and gems are from my stash. Ooh and of coarse my nesties.
I am combing my card with
Allsorts - I have followed their fab sketch and also used up some of my old stash ( papers, gems, brads etc).
Creative Belli - Glitter or Rhinestones
Penny´s Paper Craft - Chalks.

Back to School

Happy New Year my lovelies, sorry I have been such a bad blogger lately but I have been laid up this past few weeks with my back. Gradually getting around with the aid of crutches so hopefully will catch up with you all soon.
Today sees the 1st challenge of the New Year at Die Cut Dreams and the the theme is Back To School.
I did have to rack my brains for this one as it is many years since my kids left school and books was my first train of thought and you know my love of fairies so had to include one of these too. Images coloured with copics, gotta add that glamour dust so a wee bit of glitz to his wings and some glaze to the apple, had to give him his play piece. Papers and ribbon are SU, MS punch and flowers and brad are from my stash.

I am combining my card with Secret Crafter Saturday who have set the theme of New Beginnings so I think the start of a new term should fit the bill and One Stop want to see something beginning with B so I have my books .
