Pretty in Pink

Good morning peeps, oh what a horrible, miserable day we have here with high winds and rain. I do hope your weather is fairing better than mine.

Today is the start of a new challenge over at Whoopsi Daisy and this week we would like to see your

Pretty in Pink

cards, a favourite colour of mine so we hope you will come and play along with us. If you use an image from the  Whoopsi Daisy Digi Shop then the theme is Anything Goes and you will win two sheets rather than one if chosen by Random Org.

Today I have used an image from sheet #412 and coloured her with copics, added stickles to her petticoat and floral hairband.

Papers are from First Edition "Isabelle" pad and as the green was so plain I added this gorgeous Memory Box Cherish Border, Martha Stewart large butterfly punch and the small butterflies are the waste from an old Mireille  corner punch. Lace, pearls, ribbon and hearts are from my stash.

Shall we Dance?

Afternoon peeps, hope you are not all freezing, boy was the frost thick this morning but thankfully the sun is peeping through at times here in Chorley. An early start for me this morning as had acupuncture at 9am, only another month to go hopefully.

Today a new challenge starts at Whoopsi Daisy and we would like you to

Punch It Out

I am afraid there is not much punching, only Martha Stewart´s fabulous lace doily punch,  as my arms, shoulders and back are still pretty bad, got a shock with phone call yesterday for an MRI scan at 6pm - yep on a Sunday evening, the good thing at least I didn´t have a sleepless night with the short notice!

I have used this sweet image from Sheet 420, she reminds me so much of our daughters when they were young and going to all sorts of dance classes including ballet. I have coloured her with my copics, inked around image and added lots of glitter with stickles. Papers are from Papermania´s Lucy Cromwell pad, gems and pearls from Mei Flower and lace and ribbon from stash. Sentiment was cut from the Cricut,  scroll die was borrowed from my daughter and am I glad I made good use of it when she visited for a few days, think I may have to treat myself to it. I always check out  Sweet Sketch Wednesday as I love playing with their sketches.

My friend asked me to make a card for her grandaughter because she has just passed her first ballet exam, bless her, I remember only too well running our girls around to their ballet, tap and modern lessons. I knew straight away which stamp to use because "Little Ballerina" fits the bill to perfection as does the circular sentiment also available from Lili of the Valley.
