Good morning peeps. hope you have all had a wonderful weekend. Wow did it rain cats and dogs here yesterday but must admit we do need it. Sky is so blue today although temps have dropped.

Anyhoo onto my card, the challenge this week at Die Cut Dreams is

"Hot Chocolate"
I have used the fabulous sketch by Sandie at PaperPlay and coloured with my favourite medium of Copics , The Pink Elephant want you to use your favourite colouring medium and Simon Says Winter love ... what is more loving than a good cuppa hot chocolate or in my case cocoa ... warms the cockles of my heart on a cold evening before bed.

Papers are K & Co, ribbon is Anita´s, daisy and leaf punch with some flowers from stash and ticket stamp complete my project.
Enjoy your day, see you tomorrow.

Fluttering By with a challenge or two

Good morning and a happy Wednesday to you all. This day as always we get to play with Flutter By Wednesday at Danni´s Dreams and this week our challenge is to use a circle or circles along with your butterfly, fairy or angel.

There are more than a few challenges this week looking for Christmas themed projects so I am playing along with

Papertake Weekly ... Christmas Crackers

Flourishes Timeless Tuesday ... Thank You and/or Christmas

Allsorts ... Christmas Carol or Song Title ... Once in Royal David´s City

Gingersnap Creations ... include a Frame.

For my card today I decided to go back to basics, so no fancy papers - only pearlescent card. I created my frame using my circular nestabilities, cased this from my fellow DT Harriet, thank you sweetie, and edged this with those long forgotten peel offs. Both images have been coloured with copics ...central image is from See D´s Traditional Christmas ... Christmas Angels - Praying from Lili of the Valley and the flower was another of last week´s finds. Very plain and simple and looks much better IRL.

Please be sure to visit the Flutter By Team's blogs to see their wonderful fluttering creations! Links are on my sidebar.
