Happy Tuesday everyone, hope you are all enjoying the heat!
Wow we are onto Challenge 17 already at Creative Card Crew and this week Tasha has set the theme of "WEDDING" so come on and join in as I am sure you all have plenty of these to go to this summer.
My take is a bit different because I have a friend who is getting married again after being widowed more than a few years ago and as she says she is no longer the blushing bride.
I have kept my card very simple by bugging my background and matting onto pink then using a few punches made my floral arrangement and the flowers I shaped with a cocktail stick to give them some dimension. The Wedding greeting is from See D Celebration Messages. I am sure my friend will like the simplicity of this. -x-

Stampin´ for the Weekend Challenge #4 "Pocket Full of ..."
Golly gosh we are onto week 4 already at ¨Stampin´for the Weekend", how time flies when you have fun and that is exactly what we have in store for you.
Our sponsor this week is Paper Makeup Stamps
and the fabulous prize on offer is a Cupcake Stamp Set AND a Birthday Fairy Stamp.
We extend a warm welcome to Nancy who is our Guest Designer for the next two weeks. Please stop by her blog and leave her some love.
Anyhoo onto this weeks challenge ánd as the title "Pocket Full of ..." suggests... we would love to see some POCKET or WALLET cards and here is my interpretation.
I have coloured Annie with my Prismas then matted her onto a pretty pastel pink. My papers are from SU, I do love these, and I have used the very first border punch I bought yonks ago. Primas and roses are from stock and the tiny flowers are waste from past punching - being the canny Scot I am I waste nothing! oops and the sentiment is from Cuddly Buddly.
I have carried my papers and punching through to the inside, ooh I am so proud of myself as never done this before, and secured my pockets with minature Papermania brads.
Ooh wait for it ... I have decorated the back as well ... getting good in my old age!
I wish to thank my wee bloggie pal from over the pond for the know how, little did you realise your birthday card was also a tutorial!
Be sure to join us for a "Pocket Full of ..." and check out my DT buddies blogs Donna, Kimmi, Amy, Claire, Ida, Jen, Poppet, Vicki and Vanja for inspiration.
Have a wonderful weekend too. -x-

Playtime and three new challenges for me
Today I wanted to play with my new toys and participate in some blogs which are new to me so I have made special time and enjoyed every minute.
I have three friends whom are on the DT at Christmas Stampin ALL YEAR LONG and challenge #22 is a freebie to just make a Christmas card. Allsorts Challenge 6 have a theme of WINGS and Dottie´s World have a theme of Christmas in June.
For my card I have used Holly from Charmed Cards and Crafts and I had to buy both sets as they are so adorable. I have coloured Holly with my prismas and added oodles of glamour dust to her wings, dress and boots and green glitter glue to her lower eyelashes - also added some red flat backed gems for the holly berries on her headband. My backing papers are all from Bearly Mine Designer Extreme Volume 1 as I simply can´t live without these and my gorgeous hanging charm is from Poppy Petals Designs. I have cut a snowflake from a sissix die and my flowers, spacers and brads are all from The Hobby House.
Ooh I am just loving these adorable little pixies so you are warned ... there will lots more coming!
Enjoy your day and I will be back tomorrow with my DT card. -x-

Flutter By Wednesday # 63
Golly gosh we are half way through another week, how time flies. This day always brings us Flutter By Wednesday at Danni´s Dreams and we now have some fun changes. Danni has featured all our team members so she thought it would be fun to get us more involved now.
Our first team member challenge is by Kimmie and her challenge is called Spring Fever since we're all ready to get outside and enjoy the weather. Just create an "outdoorsy card" with a butterfly or fairy. We'd love to see your creations! Leave a direct link to your creation in Mister Linky and if you upload to SCS or PCP, please use the keyword, FBW. Can't wait to see all those fluttering cards!!
My outdoor scene is taken from Bearly Mine Designer Inserts Extreme and this range of CD´s are my fav of all time because there are papers for absolutely everything. My fairies have been coloured with my Prismas´and lashings of glamour dust. Tinkerbell was a RAK from a very kind team member, must get this stamp for myself, and the other fairies are from See D´s Magical Christmas.
Be sure to visit all the Flutter By Team blogs and see their awesome creations! Their links are all on my sidebar and you won't be disappointed!!
Have a Magical day and I hope the sun shines on you. -x-

Creative Card crew Challenge #16 "Whatever the Weather"
The challenge this week with the Creative Card Crew has been set by the lovely and very talented Joey and her choice of theme is "Whatever the Weather" so let´s see what you can all create from this inspiring title.
I must admit I did wonder which path I would follow, Joey certainly got me to use my old grey matter hehe.
For my card I decided I would start off with the sky for inspiration and my background scene was created from the Summer section of My Crfat Studio. I then imported the deck chair, towel and beach shoes, something I have never done before, then decided she may need a wee drink so voila she has a glass of margarita to quench her thirst.
I coloured Holly with my Prisma´s then cut her out and popped her up on 3d pads. I have tried to give the impression that she is walking off the beach because those clouds don´t look too promising!
I hope the weather is good to you and the sun shines brightly. -x-

Stampin´ for the Weekend Challenge #3 "Rock n Roll 60´s"
Woo hoo Friday is upon us once again and what a wonderful day this is because a NEW CHALLENGE always begins at "Stampin´for the Weekend" and this week we have we have gone for something a little bit different.
Below you will find three song titles from the 60's in which you will draw your inspiration from. Please do not read into this as being far too hard, if you forget the lyrics and concentrate on the title only, you're 50% there already!
Our sponsor for this week´s challenge is Simon Says Stamp and the prize on offer is a whopping $25 gift voucher, how generous is that! Thank you Heide.
Many thanks to Sandie for being our Guest Deigner this fortnight.
So - Here are the song titles we'd like you to use as inspiration, and believe me, going by the teams cards, your inspiration could take you anywhere!
1. A Whiter Shade of Pale - Procol Harum
2. Time of the Season - Zombies
3. Please Mr. Postman - Marvelettes
(remember - just the title, you dont use the lyrics!)
For my card I have gone with "Time of the Season"
I have used Willow with Lantern from WOJ and coloured her with my Prisma´s adding a touch of gold glamour dust to her lantern and a small gem for her pendant. My backing paper is from Bearly Mine Designs - Designer Extreme Vol 1 and the flat backed pearls and flowers are from my stash. Sentiment is from Sizzlets and the pretty hanging charm is from Poppy Petal Designs.
Do stop by my fellow DT´s blogs and see their wonderful interpretations Donna, Kimmi, Amy, Claire, Ida, Jen, Poppet, Vicki and Vanja.

Have a "micey" nice day
Ooh I am always running late these days and could do with the odd extra 24 hour day, like most of you no doubt. Gosh we are half way through yet another week already and Wednesday always brings us "Flutter By" at Danni´s Dreams and as long as you have a butterfly or fairy on your card that is the only requirement for Challenge #62. Penny Black are celebrating their 1st Birthday so I have made this card to "Celebrate" with them and I have used the sketch from Just Christmas and Birthday Cards.
I have used these gorgeous mice from Penny Black and coloured them with my Prisma´s. Both backing papers are from Stampin Up and I used my MSDL punch on the border as I thought it was time to have a play - my poor punches are so neglected these days.
My ribbon is from Dovecraft and the flat backed gems from Kars. That cute little "micey" sentiment is also a Penny Black whilst the birthday greeting is a "See D".
Our featured stamper this week at Flutter By´s is the ever so sweet Christine so be sure to stop by her blog - I promise you will be so glad you did as she is ever so talented. We have a Guest Designer this week too - none other than the mega talented Mary B. Giemza so do stop by and leave her some love too.
If you upload to SCS or PCP, please use the keyword, FBW.
Sorry I have not left as many comments on your blogs but hopefully I will get caught with you all very soon. -x-

Creative Card crew Challenge #15
Hope you have all had a lovely weekend and enjoyed the sunshine. I had a super time with my sister and brother in law who flew down from Madrid for the weekend, it was so nice to catch up in person rather than telephone.
The lovely Linda has set the theme this week at the Creative Card Crew and it is to use JUST 2 COLOURS - BLACK PLUS ANOTHER.

I have used this elegant image from the Art Deco cd and matted and layered her up on black and white card and then added a flower peel off down the side. Quick, easy and I think effective.
Do stop by my fellow DT´s blogs, you will find their links on my sidebar and I look forward to viewing your creations over on CCC. -x-

Flutterby Wednesday #61 meets Sketch and Stash #12
Wow it sure is hot here this morning and I have lots to do today, must get a bit of the dreaded H word done and stock up at the supermarket .
This day of the week always brings Flutter By Wednesday at Danni´s Dreams and this week along with your butterfly or fairy there is the option to follow a sketch. I have followed the sketch at Sketch and Stash, thank you girls I will definitely use this lots of times.
For my card I have inked up Melinda Helping Angel from WOJ and coloured her with my Prisma´s then added Gold Glamour Dust to her wings but must admit I do prefer the Crystal.
Backing papers are from Bearly Mine Extreme I, gold mirri board, silk flower and tartan ribbon are from my stash and the snowflake brads are from Papermania. This sketch just cried out Christmas to me so now I have my first card made ... lots more to go though.
Our feautured stamper this week is Lelia so do stop by her blog and leave her some love.

Creative Card Crew Challenge 14 and Awards
Mornin´peeps, I hope the sun is shining for you and you all have a wonderful day.
This week´s theme at the Creative Card Crew has been set by our lovely Sharon and she wants us all to follow GEOMETRIC PATTERNS so come on and put those thinking caps on and join in.
I decided to go along with "circles" and have used "Skater Ian" from the Greeting farm , coloured him with my Prisma pencils blending with Sansodor. He sure looks as if he is having fun on his skate-board don´t you think?
My DP is from the Hopscotch pack from K&Co and I used my Swiss Dots folder to give a little texture. Sentiment is from Cuddly Buddly and as I used my circular nesties I suspended some buttons to continue my circular theme.
I am honoured that my blogging buddies Liza and Poppy have both passed this beautiful award onto me. Their blogs are amazing and I really appreciate all the wonderful comments that they, and everyone else leaves for me, so a huge thank you girls.
I'm going to pass these on to some awesome crafters, so without further ado, they are going to Marcea, Chris, Jen and Vicki.
Liza has also given me the Lemonade Award but as I have already passed this on it is here with my love for you my friends whom don´t have this already.

"Stampin' for the Weekend New Challenge Blog Launch"
Woo Hoo!!! It's finally here......LAUNCH DAY for Stampin´for the Weekend.
Kimmi, Donna and the whole Design Team of Amy, Claire, Ida, Jen, Poppet, Vicki, Vanja and myself have been waiting for this day for ages.....and I do mean ages! LOL
For our first challenge entitled "From Dusk to Dawn", we're asking you to make a card or some other project using the colour scheme of Purple and Yellow, a colour theme not normally seen, but it does look gorgeous together.
On my card I have used Teenage Lizzie with box of chocolates from Whiff of Joy. I coloured her using Prismas and layered her on some purple and yellow card then added some little stars for detail. All papers used on my card are from Designer Extreme Vol 1 and I created a border using my MSDL punch then used my retro punch and adhered roses from my stash for that added bit of bling.
For this week, with it being our first challenge, Kim and Donna have put together a lovely prize with lots of crafting goodies and even chocolates for our first winner. So if you fancy your chances.....please join us. Look forward to seeing you there and I hope you will pop by my fellow DT´s blogs and leave them some love.

SF#5, CC#42 and FBW#60
Good morning my lovlies, I hope you are all still enjoying the sunny weather. A bit overcast here this morning but still very hot.
Woo hoo there are lots of challenges this week for fairies and you know how much I love mine. Flutter By Wednesday is open this week so a butterfly or fairy is all that is needed. Evelina set the theme for Cupcake, thank you, and Scrappy Frogs have extended their theme until the 12th owing to problems with Mr. Linky.
I love this Anya fairy from the Greeting farm, she is coloured with my prismas and not a drop of glamour dust to be seen this week. Papers are K&Co, prima flowers, papermania brads and roses were a gift.
Our guest designer this week on FBW is none other than the very talented Cindy Hafner and our featured stamper is the wonderful Chris Olsen. Be sure to stop by their blogs and all the other team members blogs (links on my sidebar) and leave them some love! Welcome back to the team Kimmie, I am looking forward to working with you.

Buzzy Bees
Good morning crafters and what a glorious morning it is here on the Costa del Sol. Temperatures are rising daily now and boy is it hot in the afternoon, pushing 36 degrees which makes for wet, sticky fingers whilst crafting!
Tuesday´s always bring us a challenge from the Creative Card Crew and this week I have set the theme of Childs Play so let us see all your wonderful creations for those little people in your life.
This week Heather from Crafty Addicts has kindly sponsored us, thank you Heather. Don´t forget to check out the DT cards.
It is a long time since I did any decoupage and even longer since I used an A5 card. I think this little bear is thoroughly enjoying his honey and not at all bothered with the bees around his pot, he looks so cool and laid back don´t you think?
I have received this beautiful award from my blogging buddy Chris at A Wellnifty Place, thank you so much for awarding this to me sweetie.
"The Inspirational Award" you can nominate as many blogs as you would like to receive it, put the award on your blog and leave a comment,.. BUT, this is the twist, you have to tell a fact about yourself that no other bloggers know and put it on your blog.My memory fails me at times and it may be weeks before I can thank Chris again if I don´t post this now so will come back when I can think of something DD Marcea may not know as she is also a blogger.
I have pleasure passing this Inspiration award onto Sheila, Sarah and Vicki(basement stamper). Do stop by buddies blogs and feast your eyes on their mega creations.
