Die Cut Dreams - Tilda in Blue

Good morning folks, welcome to a new challenge at Die Cut Dreams.
This weeks challenge theme is

Tilda in Blue

Your card has to be mainly Blue, you can use skin and hair colours and a dash of black and white with a minimal dash of another colour. This week we are also joined by our very special guest designer Trisha and if you need a little inspiration just take a look at the stunning creations our fab Design Team have created, links are in my sidebar.

I would also like to extend a warm welcome to our new teamies, Liz Marsden, Dawn, Deb‘s R, Tracy, Pamela & Crafty Chris who will be joining us from next week.

My circular card is from the Shaped Cards on Stands from Die Cut Dreams and at only £2.99 for 18pieces, making 6 cards, this is a real bargain. I covered the plain circle with paper from my stash and added a doily.
I have coloured Tilda with copics and prismas with a touch of glamour dust, roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts, sentiment is Stampin Up and cut with my nesties.

Challenges:

Charisma Cardz - Anything but Square

Craftalicious - Birthdays

Lots To Do - Shapes

Ooh La La Creations - Birthday

Stamp Something - Something Flowery

The Stamp Man - Anything Goes

Totally Stampalicious - Birthdays

Carol Singing

Good morning and welcome to a new challenge at Lili of the Valley. This fortnight we have a wonderful

Sketch

for you, designed by our very own Bev. This was a dream to work with and one I will be using over and over again.

I have inked up "Carol Singing" from the new Lili of the Valley Christmas 2010 - Christmas People Collection. Ooh they are all adorable and I count myself so fortunate working with all these fabulous images and you can get yours too at Lili of the Valley.
I have coloured with copics and prisma´s and just had to add touches of glamour dust cos chrissie cards need to glitter, well that is my excuse and I´m sticking to it - just like the glitter does to me rofl. Papers are Stampin Up, the gorgeous roses from Wild Orchid Crafts, punch is a Martha Stewart and the card candy is from my stash.

Challenges:

Christmas Stampin´ All Year Long - Bling It Up
Cupcakes - Cats & Dogs
Ooh La La Creations - Christmas in July
One Stop Craft - Pink, Blue, Green & a hint of Red

To celebrate our birthday we are having a Blog Hop and all you have to do to be in with a chance to win is enter this weeks challenge first ... then do the Blog Hop.
We are joined this week by our old friend Vikki as Guest Designer and all the Dream Team girls including me have a little blog hop candy on our blogs so you need to hop round all our blogs, collect the letters and leave a comment. My candy will be a Surprise package for one lucky commenter.

If you have arrived here from Vikki´s Blog you are in the right place, if not please head back to Die Cut Dreams to retrace your steps and you will also find out what the fabulous prize on offer is there too.

This weeks Challenge theme is

1st Birthday so let´s see a No "1"

For my 1st card I have used a Kizzy Dizzy decoupage, it is ages since I did any decoupage considering this was my first love in carding. I have kept it simple and only added touches of gold glamour dust and gems. This card also fits the challenge at The Crafty Pad who have set the theme of Animal Fun.

The image for my 2nd card was a RAK , coloured with copics and prismas. I have cut him out and sat him upon the nesties. Sentiment is a See D, stars and brads are Papermania - paper and ribbons from my stash.

I have followed the sketch at Sketch and Stash, Paper Play want to see a card for a Child or Teenager, Charisma have set the theme of Metal Mickey and Everybody Art Challenge have a theme of Birthday´s.

Your next stop is Victoria´s Blog but you will need my letter before you leave so here it is.

A few Challenges and not a DT card in sight ... ooh and a wee reminder too

Happy 4th July to all my American buddies, I hope you are all enjoying a wonderful day of celebrations.

I have dedicated this card to my teamies at Die Cut Dreams as we are 1 Year Old this week and are celebrating in style with a Blog Hop which starts tomorrow. All the DT´s have candy and there will also be a main prize up for grabs on the Die Cut Dreams blog so you won´t want to miss out.

I have followed the sketch at Sketch Saturday, Stampavie and More have set their theme of Sparkling, Craftilicious want to see Cute, Sir Stampalot have gone all seasonal with Lazy Hazy Days of Summer and Party Time Tuesday have set the theme Anything Goes Birthday.

Papers and sentiment are from SU, stamp is Sarah Kay and coloured with copics and prismas´, roses from Wild Orchid Crafts and rest from stash. Of course the glitter had to come out too but I was quite sparing with it ... this time.

I hope you are all enjoying a lazy Sunday afternoon, off for a dip in the pool to cool off. -x-

New Lili of the Valley A5 Favourite Stamp Sheets OUT TODAY

Thought I'd give you all the heads up on the new A5 stamps sheets that are out today. Lili of the Valley have got 4 sets of all their favourite LOTV Stamps - Oh so Girlie, Boy Oh Boy, Occasions and Merry Christmas. All the sheets have 4 full size LOTV stamps on there plus 8 greetings. They are currently for sale at only £12!! It's crazy really when you think that there is over £18 worth of stamps on there - but Laila and Lisa have made them part of their Midsummer Madness 10 days which is running from 2nd - 12th July. For the whole 10 days, all their die cuts are only 50p a sheet and, like I said, these brand new stamp sheets are only £12.They´ve picked their very best sellers for the sheets - except for the Christmas one which has 4 BRAND NEW designs on there. They thought they´d whet your appetite for their Christmas range of 40 stamps (yes 40 - they must be mad!) which they´re launching at the end of this month and in August. They´ve only got a limited supply of these sheets at the moment as they just want to see how they go - so if you want them I'd be quick as they took them to the Doncaster exhibition at the weekend and they were really popular.
